Get rid of nail fungus by Zetaclear
Onychomycosis, commonly known as nail fungus or ring worm of the nail, is a fungal infection that is more prevalent than any other nail disfiguring abnormalities. This condition is characterised by the nails becoming thick and discoloured into yellow, green or white. Though both the hand nails and toe nails are prone to it, the latter are found to be easily prone to it. Not one particular species, but several groups of fungi are responsible for it. It turns into a very painful condition when untreated and has the nature to re-occur easily. Up to 8% of the adults are found to have experienced it at any phase of their life.
Nail Fungus Symptoms
In its very initial stages, nail fungus begins as a small spot at the tip of the toe or finger nail. As the days progress and when left untreated, it slowly spreads into the deeper part of the nail making it brittle and discoloured. At this stage, the nail gets easily broken at the edges and the skin around and under the nail becomes inflammated and very painful; also, the skin around the nail can become scaly in some cases. Gradually, because of broken edges and excessive hardening, the nail’s shape is completely distorted. It looses its lusture and may look dark because of the debris that gets accumulated underneath it. In occasional cases, the nail might rise up a bit exposing the nail bed from which rarely you can smell foul odours.
Nail Fungus Causes
Fungi, especially Trychophyton Rubrum, is the pathogen which commonly causes this disease. Apart from it, other microbes like Epidermophyton floccosum, Trichophyton tonsurans and Trichophyton interdigitale are also some of the pathogens that are responsible. Less blood circulation (which is more in case of toe nails) and slow nail growth are ideal for these fungi to thrive. So, ageing, which brings on the aforementioned events makes an individual more prone to it. Genetics also play their own part – an individual has a high probability of nail fungus attack if the previous generation had it. Also, men are more prone to it than women. People working in moist and damp conditions with tight foot wear also are affected easily.
Several anti-fungal creams and ointments are available over-the-counter in all parts of the world to control this condition. However, the sooner you respond, the better you can treat it. Several lotions like Zetaclear proved to be very effective over the effected region; if applied regularly, you can start feeling relief in a few weeks. In over a couple of months, the fungal infection will be totally suppressed. However, as the re-occurrence probability of this condition is pretty high, proper care should be taken for the affected parts. So, get rid of nail fungus with Zetaclear in the early stages to hinder the chance of its recurrence. If the condition becomes severe and does not respond to drugs, consult a dermatologist who will take a small sample of the affected nail region to test for confirmation of the fungal infection and then starts medication based on the severity.
Do not walk for long barefooted in public places especially in damp sites like community swimming pools. If you touched some affected individual, clean the hands well with a good disinfectant. Wear clean gloves and socks while going out or while staying at home. Trim your nails clean and do not allow debris to deposit under the nails.
